Project "Sharity" - Sharing
Giving Back to the Communities Who Make Our Business Possible

Many developing countries struggle with limited access to quality healthcare, leading to lower life expectancy and preventable health issues. Project Sharity aims to improve health outcomes by providing healthcare access to the farmers we work with and their families.
Project Sharity aims to support the rural communities behind our coffee by reinvesting profits into their well-being. Our first initiative is building a health clinic in Tanzania’s Mbeya region to provide accessible healthcare, reducing the need for long, difficult journeys for basic services and improving the health of women, children, and the entire community.
Cost Breakdown
Once the building is completed, the government has agreed to place healthcare workers and provide basic medicines and equipment so that the clinic can start offering services right away. But, we have a ways to go before the clinic is ready to start treating patients!
PROGRESS

Project Sharity Status Update: October 2024
As of October 2024, we’ve completed the first three phases of the project and are now fundraising for Phases 4 and 5, which will cover finishing touches like lighting, plumbing, windows, and wall plaster. The remaining work is estimated at 78M Shillings ($29,539 USD). Meanwhile, we’re also supporting the community by donating chairs to local schools, helping create a better learning environment and improving the community’s long-term quality of life.
Long-Term Impact
This clinic is just the beginning for Project Sharity. Once it’s complete, we plan to pursue more initiatives to support the farmers and families we work with, while the clinic continues to enhance the community’s well-being and boost the local economy.
