The Backstory

Kalinzi Kigoma Women's Group

Kalinzi Cooperative is in Kalinzi village, the main coffee-growing area in the District of Kigoma, Tanzania, made up of more than 2,600 small-scale growers in the region. This coffee has won numerous prizes and is one of the best coffees in Tanzania. Through several social projects and coffee production, the area has improved to give local communities the tool necessary to grow their economies and build a sustainable community.
